I would say these are fairly direct and to the point.
In General. . . .- Respect one another.
- Graphics, if used, should represent the characters.
- Graphics may not contain nudity or extreme violence.
- Signature image size limit: 450 width x 300 height.
- One character per account.
- Display names should correspond with character names.
- Display names should be in ALL CAPS.
- DO NOT ASK TO BECOME A MODERATOR. Moderators are selected from among the active, more experienced role play members.
Role Playing- Canon profiles which have not been completed (or show no active editing) within one week will be locked, and the canon will be available for others to apply for.
- Do not god-mod or power-play.
- No excessive violence, sex, etc on the forums. ProBoards TOS talks clearly about this, and moderators will strive to keep this restricted.
- There is NO word count requirement, except for profiles. We prefer quality over quantity. However, try to at least equal the word count of the person you are RPing with (usually dependent on the one who posted first). Be sure to try and give your respondent something to actually reply to.
- Although we do not have a word count requirement, we do not allow one-liners. We expect that you make an effort in producing posts with good grammar and proper spelling, along with some substance. Quotes for speech. Italics for thoughts.
In dealing with activity. . . .- Accounts which are not activated within two weeks will be deleted.
- Accounts which have 0 posts after one month of registering will be deleted.
- Users who do not make posts within a 2-month period, without excuse, will be deleted.
- Monthly notices will go out with general information.
- We do not hold activity checks.
The Karma System- All members are moderators in and of themselves and can look out for rule-breakers. Please utilize the karma system, but do not abuse it.
- If your karma is in the negative, you may request at the beginning of each month to have it changed to 0 and begin anew.
- Karma points are rewarded for various things at various intervals, whether for activity or for winning contests.
