Looks Aren't Everything

Birthmark(s): A red splotch on the right side of his waist that looks like someone had smacked him there.

Scar(s): Hiroto is covered in battle scars, and has the remains of a curse he had been put under by a priestess a long time ago. The black markings wrap around his left shoulder in a complete circle are the only remains, while years ago, it covered his whole arm. His worst scar, though, is the four long paraelle gashes that run down his back from his shoulders to his hips.

Appearance:
Hiroto is a tall and muscular man, although most of his muscles are in his legs. He prefers travelling on foot everywhere and rarely uses any other source of transportation, which results in him having a high amount of stamina and powerful legs. He is always helping with the work, not wishing to be another fat king like those in England or the human lords of their current time. Hiroto knows a fat man means a wealthy man, and he is far from broke, and he, honestly, prefers being buff from rough work, rather than a fatass stuck in a throne. He claims that being this way makes him better suit for being a war lord.

Hiroto is usually not wearing a shirt, and just pieces of armor made from demon bones, when he is within his castle, but outside of the protective walls, he usually has a very traditional samurai style of clothing on. The kimono shirt is white that fades to a dark gray on the end of his sleeves, where a rather disturbing pattern laces around. Skulls and thorns make up, what's suppose to be floral, pattern. His armor that hugs his sleeves tightly to his skin is dark gray with crimson padding so not to be uncomfortable.

Hiroto's hair is thick, messy, and black. Although, the spikey mess begins to fade to a dark steel blue just mid-way down his neck. His hair was, then, cut rather sloppy and the bangs that frame his face were cut once and left to grow and hang past his chin. A single clump of his hair had never been cut, though, and is wrapped in bandages, usually hanging in a pony tail like fashion behind him, or tossed over his shoulder.

Hiroto, like all higher class youkais, has two forms. His demon form is large as most tend to be. Hiroto, being a lion demon, transforms in a large, surprisingly, white lion. On all fours, he's probably the same size as Sesshomaru's dog form, but on his hind legs, he can tower over a majority of demons, easily. Hiroto's mane and the end of his tail are the same rusted red hue that his eyes are. On his cheeks, shoulders, and hips, a rusted color messy and spaced out swirl has formed on each spot. When using his abilities, these swirls tend to glow brightly, and can be blinding when you look directly at them.

What's Beneath the Skin

Personality:
Due to his age, Hiroto is obviously experienced and very wise. Contradicting those two facts, though, Hiroto is childish and often acts innocent. He always acts as a fool, even in situations where most turn serious. He seems so childish, it's practically frightening. Hiroto has torn off a man's head with a grin on his face and joked about the blood looking like a fountain as the blood was still spraying every where. His childish behaivour gives him his own spark, and often catches most by surprise. He always seems to be as giddy as a school girl, but he has mood swings that change faster than the weather.

Hiroto can go from happy to pissed in a matter of miliseconds if the right buttons are pressed. He's been known to flash bright grins at people, and turn to give a stare that could kill at someone faster than you could snap your fingers. Although, it's very difficult to set off this fast rage, since Hiroto has taught himself to be very tolerant of idiots. Hiroto is able to tolerate anything long enough to get what he wants, and then unleash all the held back rage once he's got what he wants. He's a smooth talker, and could talk his way out of most situations if he needed to.

Hiroto is the last person to be trusted with anything. He'd tell you anything you wanted to hear, but once he gets everything he wanted from you, Hiroto would betray you without a moment's hesitation. Although, he's much more loyal to demons than lesser demons, hanyous, and humans. He shows respect to his fellow higher class demons, and is disguisted by any other race. Despite this, though, he still has betrayed a few of his fellow demons without a hint of guilt. He practically lacks a guilty conscience in fact. He's even betrayed his own brother before, without a second of hesitation.

Hiroto's pride in himself makes it easy for him to betray anyone. He has no doubt in himself, and he believes that when he does something, he's made the right choice. Although, don't assume he's a stubborn fool, for there are times he does listen to reason. He is a very good leader, often adjusting his style for each individual he comes across. It's his manipulative behaivour that causes his leadership abilties to increase because of how easily he can change his behaivour for each situation.

Most of the time, though, Hiroto continues to appear as a childish fool. He finds amusement in causing other's suffering, and laughs when he sees terrified expressions. He could be considered insane for all the things he's find humorous, especially since he had laughed at his own wounds, before. It's almost as if he had exchanged pain for joy.
